Kingdom Foundation College Plans to Launch Top FM, a Live Radio Station for Journalism Students
Kingdom Foundation College is pleased to announce plans to launch Top FM, a live campus radio station designed to give students in the School of Journalism, Mass Communication and Media Studies hands-on, real-world broadcasting experience.
Learning by Doing
Top FM will give journalism students the opportunity to move beyond theory and into practice — producing live segments, conducting interviews, and managing on-air programming as part of their coursework. For a college built around practical, career-focused education, Top FM represents a natural extension of that mission into the media and communication field.
A Partnership Rooted in Media
The station is being developed in partnership with Top Media Company, one of Kingdom Foundation College's corporate sponsors, whose industry expertise will support the technical setup and ongoing mentorship behind Top FM. The partnership reflects the same spirit that runs through the college's other sponsor relationships: real institutions investing directly in students' practical skills, not just their tuition.
What Students Will Gain
Students contributing to Top FM will gain direct experience in news reporting, media production, and on-air communication — skills that translate immediately into the kind of confident, practical communicator the School of Journalism, Mass Communication and Media Studies aims to develop. It will also give students a live portfolio of work to point to when pursuing opportunities in the media and communication industry after graduation.
Looking Ahead
Kingdom Foundation College plans to launch Top FM as more students join the School of Journalism, Mass Communication and Media Studies, further strengthening the bridge between classroom learning and real careers in media.
