Program Overview
Our Advanced Diploma in Arabic Language, Culture and History at Kingdom Foundation College develops students' advanced proficiency in Arabic combined with comprehensive understanding of Arab cultures, Islamic history, literature, and contemporary Arab societies. The program covers advanced Arabic language skills (Modern Standard Arabic and dialects), Islamic civilization, Arabic literature and poetry, historical developments, and contemporary issues in Arab regions. Students develop conversational fluency, reading and writing proficiency, and deep understanding of Arab and Islamic cultures. Guided by native speakers and Arab culture specialists, students engage with authentic materials, literary works, and cultural practices. Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Advanced Diploma program at Kingdom Foundation College, applicants must meet one of the following requirements: - Completion of the College Certificate program (required for students with E- or D- in KCSE), or - D- in KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) and above (without prior certificate), or - Recognised KNEC Certificate or Diploma, or - Any other professional course (e.g., KASNEB) Students with E- or D- in KCSE are required to first complete the College's Certificate program (1 year, 3 semesters) before proceeding to the Advanced Diploma. Applicants must submit official transcripts and meet any additional program-specific prerequisites. For international students, proof of English proficiency may be required.
